ROSE QUARTZ AND LAVENDER FOG

When Pantone introduces two shades for the first time, Rose Quartz (Pale Pink) and Serenity (Soft Blue) as the PANTONE Color of the Year 2016, I was very happy because these colors are my favorites. I love subtle and soft colors like the one I’m wearing Rose Quartz and Lavender Fog. Pantone define Rose Quartz a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure and Serenity is weightless and airy bringing feelings of respite and relaxation even in turbulent times.

For this look, I paired my Rose Quartz top with Lavender Fog pencil cut skirt and then for my shoes I wore a little hot bright color accent of Blue Turquoise of my shoes to add a little splash and sparkle.

I can’t believe 2016 is here!!! I’m pretty sure that some of you are planning and setting goals and some are making New Year’s resolution. Am I right? Because I as well, planning and setting goals for this year 2016. My 2015 was not so good. It’s like riding a roller coaster and a very rocky road but that’s the essence of life. There are ups and downs. However, I tried to always think the good ones and the happy ones. I am too clingy to those people who cared with me during my turbulent times. I thank them for their care, support, coaching, protection, unconditional love, patience and their loyalty.

One of my goals this 2016 is finding happiness. I know that we are in control of our own happiness and our own thoughts. Only I can make myself happy and little things can bring me joy. I love to laugh even in small things. I always love to laugh. Sometimes expectations ruin our happiness as what William Shakespeare said, “Expectation is the root of all heartache.” However, I am thankful because Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ love me so much. The song goes below:

As now we take the sacrament,
Our thoughts are turned to thee,
Thou Son of God, who lived for us,
Then died on Calvary.
We contemplate thy lasting grace,
Thy boundless charity;
To us the gift of life was giv’n
For all eternity.

As now our minds review the past,
We know we must repent,
The way to thee is righteousness –
The way thy life was spent.
Forgiveness is a gift from thee
We seek with pure intent.
With hands now pledged to do thy work,
We take the sacrament.

As now we praise thy name with song,
The blessings of this day
Will linger in our thankful hearts,
And silently we pray
For courage to accept thy will,
To listen and obey.
We love thee, Lord; our hearts are full.
We’ll walk thy chosen way.

I learned that forgiveness is the key to live life peacefully and happily and repentance to renew ourselves and be cleansed again. The Lord said, “I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise.” The Lord is bound when we do what He says. I know that there are happiness and promise blessings ahead. I know better things are coming. It’s all about my attitude! My destiny is in my own hands.
